Due to the nature of our courses and products all sales are final.
We understand that emergencies happen, and sometimes life gets in the way. Students may request a cancellation or reschedule up to 24 hours before a scheduled class. We will make every reasonable attempt to accommodate our students, and each student may request a reschedule to a later class only once per paid registration. Admittance to all courses is dependent on availability. Additional rescheduling may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
No. All training aids and course materials are supplied. Students may and are encouraged to bring their personal trauma kits for evaluation by our instructors. Students are encouraged to bring note-taking materials such as a pen or paper.
No. The use of electronic devices is prohibited during our classes as they can be a distraction to other students. Students are strongly encouraged to leave devices at home or in their vehicles, and any device in the classroom must be placed on either silent/airplane mode or turned off. Students who persist in using their devices or become disruptive will be asked to leave and will not be granted a refund or free rescheduling opportunity.
No. Due to the proprietary nature of some of our materials and out of respect for the privacy of our instructors and clients, students are not permitted to take photos, video, or audio recordings at any time, including, but not limited to, during lectures or skills sessions.
We firmly support the Second Amendment, the civil right to personal defense, and the lawful, trained, and licensed possession and carry of firearms, knives, and other defensive tools. However, we take our student's health and safety very seriously. Due to the hands-on nature of our skills sessions, carrying firearms and other defensive weapons/tools is prohibited during our classes to ensure student safety. Students who violate this policy will be asked to leave and will not be refunded or rescheduled. This policy does not apply to uniformed law enforcement personnel.
As a company, we believe in the military training adage of "training how we fight" while teaching students to respond to real-world emergencies involving real people. To maximize learning, we expect students to engage in the physical application of learned skills and training equipment. While taking our courses, students can reasonably expect that during relevant skills practice sessions and scenarios, they may be touched and have medical equipment (such as a tourniquet or pressure bandage) applied to their person by themselves or others. If a student is unwilling to engage in the physical component of the course, they may audit the lecture materials for educational purposes; however, no certificate will be issued, nor will any discount or refund.
